My photographic vision is influenced by the iconic photo essays of LIFE, LOOK, and National Geographic; great stories told by visionary photographers.  Whether one image or a book-length project, my goal is to tell a story with each image.  Add the graphic look of editorial and commercial photography, where I started my career, and you have an eclectic mix to be sure.  As a fine art student, I studied design, painting, and photography -- earning a BFA followed by an MA in both photojournalism and counseling psychology.  This background brings, I feel, a different sensitivity to my work.
